Fargo Moorhead VegFest is for anyone and everyone – from omnivores to vegetarians and vegans! If you’ve ever thought about becoming vegetarian or are interested in reducing animal suffering, you’ll love Fargo Moorhead VegFest!
We’ll have exhibitors selling and sampling food, great speakers, and vegan cooking demos.
First 1000 people get a FREE swag bag filled with fun stuff!
We have our schedule!:
10 am: Doors open - Free swag bags to the first 1000 folks! General festivities with food samples, vendors, and info booths all day.
10am: Learn from Chef Joey Haynes from Green House Cafe on how to prepare some delectable delights!
11am: Hear Dr. Neal Barnard, M.D. from Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine speak on the benefits of a plant based lifestyle.
12 noon: Nick Coughlin from Compassionate Man Magazine speaks on the virtues of living a will discuss the way masculinity is portrayed in mainstream media, and how it affects the way men relate with other beings.
1 pm: Mistress Ginger gives her glamorous presentation of "Compassion With a Fankick!"
2pm: Then Chef Joey Haynes again shows us to to make some delicious vegan vittles!
3pm: Get creative with Emily from Lucid Bakery and decorate your own cookie!
3pm: The first 90 or so people get a free Hurraw! Balm made with vegan, organic, and raw ingredients!
4pm: Chef Alissa from Punk Rawk Labs will do a cooking demo using their delicious cultured cashew nut cheeses!
ALL DAY: There will also be a FREE photo booth provided by local business Pirate Radio Productions!!
